MPE Meet and Greet
New - Short-Term Substitute License
Individuals holding an Associate’s Degree or having completed 60 hours of college coursework are now eligible for a Short-Term Substitute License.
Interested individuals must:
-Submit official transcripts to the Regional Office of Education (ROE)
-Be fingerprinted at the ROE and pay the $60 fee
-Complete a physical; form submitted to the ROE
-Attend the required district substitute teacher training on September 27, 2018 at Mahomet-Seymour Administrative Center. (8:45 am - 10:45 am)
-Pay the $25 application fee
Once all the steps are completed, individuals will be issued a Short-Term Substitute License. The license is valid through June 30, 2023 and allows individuals to substitute up to 5 consecutive days for a classroom teacher PK-12. Mahomet-Seymour currently pays $100 day for teacher substitutes. Paperwork for Mahomet-Seymour can be found on the district website. www.mahometseymour.org
