Mrs. Kirby is a first grade teacher at MPE. This will be her 11th year teaching first grade in Mahomet.
Mrs. Kirby lives in Mahomet with her husband, Adam. They have three sons: Creighton (5), Cooper (3) and Jax (9 months). Mrs. Kirby and her family were busy this summer soaking up the sun at the pools, traveling to Tennessee, and enjoying playdates at the parks.
In Mrs. Kirby’s spare time she enjoys reading, exercising, cheering on the Illini, trying new restaurants, and traveling to new places with her family.
Mrs. Kirby has a true passion for teaching and looks forward to seeing her students every day. She enjoys teaching her students the importance of kindness, empathy, and how to always believe in yourself. Mrs. Kirby can’t wait to start the school year to create new relationships with her students and families while having A LOT of fun along the way.
