Tara and her husband, Chad, grew up in Bloomington and were high school sweethearts. They have 3 daughters who are also in school in Mahomet: Avery (9), Harper (8) and Morgan (6). Tara loves that she is able to work in the same district as her children and see them at school!
In her spare time, Tara loves to read books of all genres, spend time with friends and family, cheer on the Illini, and shop at some of her favorite stores (especially Target 
).
She is looking forward to this school year and being able to welcome students back to the building. One of the best parts about her job is being able to work with students from PreK- 2nd grade and seeing how much growth and progress they’ve made.
